Trafalgar Day 21st October = Trafalgar Day. A most generous couple of Oakridge residents, who have a son-in-law serving in Afghanistan, paid for a flag pole to be erected in the VH grounds. 0900 this morning - first flag-raising! Currently a competition is under way (village residents only!) to design a village flag. Only that and national ones to be flown.
